Our Mission

Who We Are

Helping Hands Uganda is dedicated to sharing the progress and impact of development projects in Uganda. Our focus is on showcasing the way of life and the positive changes taking place, as well as raising awareness and support for sustainable initiatives. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of people in Uganda.

Drilling a water well for the community of Bokomolo was a substantial health benefit for the community. The community had previously been getting their water from the Lewere River. Members of the community contracted waterborne diseases, such as typhoid, from this water source. We worked with John Kiuka, Director of Ministries, to partner with the Uganda government and the local village to get a water well drilled.

Triple Blessings Sewing School

John has been teaching tailoring for many years. He was working in a small space with 4 sewing machines. We built a new Brick building a few years ago and outfitted it we ten sewing machines. He is now teaching twenty students per class and two classes each year. Our goal is to set up 8 students per class with a new sewing machine and starter kit. This will provide an income to help support a family.
